Hey. Hey!!
Another year goes by and the group is growing in many ways. Membership is still steady, but the dues have changed to include feeding members while at the Con!
Progress continues on the dance floor. Stay tuned for photos of the finished floor and it's debute at Norwescon 2012.
Monthly potlucks have brought out the iron chef in the members. We have enjoyed many new dishes - walking tacos, crepes, cheese cakes, and such - at our meetings.
If interested in checking out a meeting/social, contact anyone on the board of directors for address and times.

For the last 15 or so years, Shockwave has been run by a small group of
friends. Now that we have gone
Non-Profit, we are opening membership up to a public recruitment.
If you are over 21 years old, come join us and
help out a good cause, enjoy a great event, and meet new people.

Ok. I have noticed that it has been awhile since my last update. This does not mean that we haven’t done anything since November. Actually, it means just the opposite.
November was a board meeting. We discussed the upcoming year’s budget, projects, membership, etc. Eventually, the minutes will be posted on our forum, if you are interested in more information.
We did take time off during December to be with family for the holidays.
January saw our first official member’s meeting. This was preceded by a Board meeting and since only 2 members were not present at the board meeting, but did show up for the member’s meeting, bringing them up to speed went quick. Since the member’s meeting was so short, we all sat down and played cards. Everyone seemed to have a good time. The Board meeting minutes have been posted in our forum.
